Review: 2-in-1 Track Outfit

Today, I’m going to be reviewing an outfit from American Girl, the 2-in-1 Track Outfit.

It retired last year, around the time of the 2015 Truly Me update. I snagged it on American Girl’s Sale page a few weeks ago for only $23!

Let’s get started with the review. :)

The tanktop is made out of a hot pink jersey fabric. There’s a panel of green at the top, which is made of a different material.

 

The InnerstarU symbol is next to the shoulder.

I absolutely love the shorts! The style is similar to that of the shorts I wear when I play soccer. They’re made of the same fabric as the panel on the tanktop.

A tiny white star is embroidered near the bottom of the right pant leg.

The shorts have hot pink piping on them.

The 2-in-1 Track Outfit comes with an amazing jacket! It’s made of a lightweight material.

It zips up the front, and the area around the zipper is made of the same fabric as the tanktop.

The InnerstarU logo is embroidered on the shoulder.

 There are panels of hot pink jersey fabric on the sides of the jacket.

 

The race number is a rectangle of white nylon. The number 7565 is woven into the fabric, as is the InnerstarU crest and American Girl’s logo.

It’s attached to a narrow band of blue elastic, which velcros in the back.

When the 2-in-1 Track Outfit arrived, my mom took one look at the sneakers and started ranting about their cuteness. ;)

(You have to tie the shoelaces, and I can see younger girls having trouble with this.)

The sole.

The sneakers are adorable, sturdy, and well made.

The outfit comes with these super-cute white ankle socks! They have a band of lime green around the top.

It comes with two light green terry-cloth hairbands.

The 2-in-1 Track Outfit comes with a square “Real” charm.
