Camp Dolliwatha, Week One: Pineapple Phone Case

Ready for the third craft of Camp Dolliwatha?

You will need:

• White foam
• Scissors
• Pencil
• Fine black Sharpie
• Yellow and green Sharpies
• Glue (not shown)
• Card stock (not shown)

Begin by printing out this printable (which I found on AmericanGirlDollFan5)on card stock paper. I’d recommend resizing it to 1″ 3\4 by 1″.

Cut out the phone screen. You can discard the phone case, as we won’t be using it for this craft.

Lay the phone on the white foam and trace around it with a pencil. Cut out the phone-shaped foam.

Take the fine Sharpie and make a small dot in the upper left corner of the foam. This will be the “camera.”

Now we’ll draw the pineapple onto the foam. Using the pencil, draw an oval, but with flatter ends.

Make the leaves pointy and overlapping.

Draw slant-y lines across the pineapple that crisscross.

Now color everything in. Yellow for the pineapple body, green for the leaves, and trace the pencil lines in black.

Glue the foam to the phone screen, trim the edges, and you’re finished. Now your dolls have a cute and summery phone case — and a new iPhone!
