Arabella requested a review of Savannah, Truly Me #55. Go check out her blog and enjoy the review. :)
#55 has the classic face mold and feathered eyebrows.
She has an adorable spray of freckles across her nose. I’m pretty sure they’re the original pattern.
She has hazel decal eyes. They’re quite beautiful and I love how detailed they are.
#55 has gorgeous hair, it’s probably my favorite thing about her. It’s parted on the left and, I’m pretty sure, made of just one shade of dark brown. I’ve been using her constantly since I got her in 2014, and her hair is still soft and shiny.
Her hair falls in soft waves down to her waist. It’s the perfect length, too: not so long as to be impossible to brush, not so short that you can’t style it.
Make sure you have American Girl’s Sparkly Hair Pick before you buy her! Using a brush on her will ruin the curls.
#55 is the most photogenic doll I own, and she looks great in everything. Out of all my dolls, she’s the one I’d recommend the most.
I hope you enjoyed the review! And if you’re considering asking for her for Christmas, maybe it helped you make up your mind.

I took these pictures when we got some snow earlier this year. And as I have absolutely zero motivation, I never got around to posting them. But on this dull Sunday (I kind of hate Sundays, but we won’t get into that right now), I finally overcame my laziness and put together a post for you, my lovely readers. :)
I know I photograph Savannah too often, please don’t hurt me.
Yeah, I stood in the middle of the road to take this picture. It’s true, I lead a dangerous life.
Have you guys gotten any snow this year? It snowed this weekend, but it was only about two inches, and melted pretty quickly. Honestly, I like watching the snow fall more than I like playing in it. It’s so peaceful and relaxing.
I absolutely love Savannah’s new beanie and knew that I had to get some pictures of her wearing it. I’ll be posting a DIY for it soon.
My dad cut down a tree in our yard. It looked pretty neat, so I decided to take the photos there. The branches bounced up and down as I walked over them and the wind kept pushing Savannah over. But I still managed to get some photos.
Happy Thanksgiving, guys! I hope you all have great big meals in your near future.
In celebration, I dressed Ellie and Savannah up as pilgrims and Indians and got them to act out the first Thanksgiving. I stitched all the beads onto Savannah’s dress. It took a long time, but it turned out looking really nice. :)
Hello! I am back from my mini unplanned break. :) Today, I have
some a lot of pictures of Savannah that I took when there was still lots of snow on the ground. Enjoy!
This is the photoshoot Savannah got because she won that thing way back when, the Who Wore it Best ~ Raspberry Glasses.
Heh heh . . . A little late, wouldn’t you know. Oh well. Better late than never, right? (I seem to say that a lot.)
Why isn’t she looking at the camera?!
VBS (Vacation Bible School) started today! (My church is doing the Everest theme.) Because of that, there might be less posts than usual, but I don’t know. I’m an assistant crew leader and am on the worship team — I’ve wanted to be on the worship team FOREVER! I was in the preschool room today, leading worship, and it wasn’t nearly as fun as leading in the main room. Hopefully I’ll be in the big room with the elementary kids for the rest of the week!
