So it’s been awhile . . . sorry about that. Between working at a Boy Scout camp, getting ready for school, and band camp, I’ve had no time to work on my blog this summer. And since school started for me two weeks ago, I’m not going to have much time now, either. I’m going to public school this year, and as if that didn’t take up enough time already, I stay after school everyday until about 6:20 for marching band.
My personal blog is where my focus is right now, so when I do have free time, that’s what I’ll be working on. But I still adore my dolls and this site, so I’ll try my best to show it some love when I get the chance. Hopefully I’ll be able to start being more active in late November, because that’s when marching season ends, and I’ll get to leave school at a normal time.
I hope you guys understand. I’m really trying, but I just don’t have enough time to get everything done right now.
I redid my dolls’ profiles for the first time in almost four years!
A few things changed: I deleted some useless information, so they look somewhat neater now. Most of them have new profile pictures, too, and if I’ve done a review of a doll, I linked to it. A few of them have slightly different personalities, but I didn’t suddenly make Saige a sweetheart or anything drastic like that.
I also added profiles for my Ever After High, Hearts4Hearts, Madame Alexander, and mini dolls, although they aren’t very in-depth. You’ll have to visit The Dolls page to read them.
Now that I have a better understanding of who my dolls are, it might be easier to make photostories. Who knows. ;)
This is a cause for celebration, since it took me over a year to quit procrastinating and update the profiles. So I created a short quiz that tells you which of my dolls you’re most like. Take it and tell me the results in the comments!

We’re going to be leaving soon and expect to arrive around twelve. I just thought I’d update you guys on what’s happening.
Hmm . . . where to start?
Nevaeh is the lucky doll that gets to come with me. I don’t believe she’s ever been to the store before.
I’m going with my dad, a muscular bald dude with a beard. He might look a bit scary, but he teaches Sunday School to second graders, and he’s really nice. If anyone sees us at the store, don’t be afraid to approach us, please!
It’s probably a good idea to post a picture of what I’m wearing, so here you go. ☺
I’ll be updating this post as the day goes along. I hope to see some of you there!
I know I disappeared for a few days, and while there’s nothing wrong with that, I have been trying to be a consistent blogger. I’ve had a busy couple of days, and I haven’t found the time to make a post. But . . .
Camp Dolliwatha starts on Monday!
I’m very excited for Happy House of AG’s first-ever craft camp, and I hope you guys are, too. I’ve been working on my crafts today, when I wasn’t doing my failed math test or reading the 24-page Crew Leader’s Guide for my church’s Vacation Bible School.
And my mom and I have been working on the logo for Camp Dolliwatha (*cough* dream catcher *cough), and I think it’s going to be very pretty.
Hmm . . . what was the point of this post? I guess I just wanted to remind you when Camp is starting, and to get you all excited!
Just so you know, I’m a very smart person. You can tell because I decided to start taking pictures for my crafts two days before Camp Dolliwatha starts. I’m a procrastinator.
Be excited, dear friends! I’m doing this camp for you. ♥
Hey, guys! I needed to make another post about my upcoming doll camp. As I didn’t want it to be entirely picture-less, I added some pictures that I took in June 2015.
Alright. Let’s get down to business. (I sang that in my head. Curse you, Mulan!) As I’m sure you know, I’m teaming up with six other bloggers to bring you a seven week-long, craft-filled doll camp. Those bloggers are Josie, Marissa, Clara, Anna, Grace, and Rutvi.
Each blogger needs to pick a theme to base their crafts around (mine is Summer Days — general summer-y things). Josie and Rutvi, you guys still need to choose themes! ;)
I’ve been calling this project “doll camp” for awhile, but that’s not it’s official name. Currently, I think it’s going to be called Camp Dolliwatha, after the real-life Camp Hiawatha. Bella from My Doll Days suggested this name — thanks!
My artistic mom agreed to design a logo for the camp, which should be cool. :)
Camp Dolliwatha starts on July 18th, which will be upon us faster than we know. To everyone that’s helping me with this camp: I’d suggest preparing your posts in advance, so you aren’t rushing around trying to pull posts together during your week.
I’m curious . . . how many of you are planning to participate in Camp Dolliwatha?
I’m pleased to say that I already have enough hosts to make this doll camp happen. To everyone who wanted to host but didn’t get a spot: I’m really sorry. I would have loved for all of you to help, but there were only so many spots. If this camp is a success, I’ll do it again next year — maybe you can get a spot next time. :)
If anyone has to back out, please notify me before camp starts, so I have time to find someone to replace you. And if “Theme Pending” is beside you name, you still need to pick a theme for your week. You have until later this summer, so take all the time you need. If you can’t think you one, I’d be happy to brainstorm with you in the comments.
Hosts: please make at least two craft posts during your week. Then you can post whatever theme-related things you’d like. And remember how in my original post, I said that campers could send you images of their crafts to post on your blog on Saturday? Well, I’d like the campers to send their pictures to me instead (so the hosts don’t have to give out their emails). If the hosts could tell the campers to email their images to happyhouseofag@gmail.com, that would be great.
Not to mention, this doll camp needs a name! Suggestions are welcome. :)
