I found some fake flowers in the attic and thought they’d be perfect for a Valentine’s Day shoot. Parker’s eyes are too dark in some of the pictures and it makes her look almost demonic. Hope you enjoyed them anyway.

I never really do anything for Valentine’s Day. Last year I got roses from my friend, and a few days ago my mom gave me an orchid, but that’s about the extent of the festivities. As dumb as it might sound, I miss celebrating with my co-op class. We would print out memes and use them as cards and share candy and no one took it too seriously.

Update on the new doll: she arrived on Monday and I absolutely love her. But I’m going on a youth retreat this weekend, so unless I can photograph her and schedule a post before I leave, she won’t be revealed until next week. Sorry, I’m not pushing it off on purpose, stuff just keeps coming up.

Another photoshoot? You guys are probably getting bored of those. I’m not that sorry, though. I’ll try to put up a comparison of Parker and Ivy sometime soon.

So! Here are some pictures of Nevaeh and her guitar by a patch of wildflowers in the garden. The instruments American Girl sells are so adorable, and I want all of them, honestly. At the moment, the only ones I have are the guitar and violin.

If I manage to post that comparison before July (is it really going to be July in two weeks?), that will be the most posts I’ve done in one month since . . . January? Yeah, January. I can’t tell if that’s disappointing because four posts in a month is a record for 2017, or happy because I’m getting slightly better at posting on here.

I’m guessing most of you are out of school, yeah? I’m mostly finished; I just need to complete my Koine Greek workbook (what can I say, I’m a nerd). Do you guys have any fun plans for the summer? Or are you going to spend your time inside with the air conditioning and wifi?

It was really gorgeous this evening, so I took Parker out to the treehouse and snapped some photos in the dying light. I love flower crowns, and Parker looks lovely in hers. I like how the yellow stands out against her hair.

I balanced Parker on a tree branch for some of the pictures. That was kind of terrifying. She didn’t fall off, though. I guess balancing dolls on uneven surfaces is a skill I’ve acquired over three years of blogging. ;)

Spring Frolics ~ an AGPS

Hi! Happy Mother’s Day. :)

I spent the night at my BFF’s house yesterday, and while it was awesome (Silly String fight! Wii Party! Butterbeer! Harry Potter movie!), I’m glad to be at home with my dear, faithful little laptop.

Anyway, I wanted to share a photoshoot of Isabelle (who, coincidentally, had the same name as my friend mentioned above). She’s really pretty — I don’t know why she isn’t featured on here more! Actually . . . I do know. MJ and Savannah and Saige have stolen the spotlight. (Better get on dancing into your own spotlight, Isabelle.)

Eve and Ellie, my newest girls, haven’t been getting the attention they deserve. I took them out yesterday during the golden hour — an hour before sunset — for a photoshoot. Enjoy!

Caroline’s birthday was yesterday (October 22)! She told everyone that she didn’t want a party; all she asked for was a photoshoot. Of course, I couldn’t say no . . . Just look at her sweet face!

Buckle up, because this is going to be a loooooong photoshoot.

It’s possible that I might have taken more photos of the flower than of the doll . . .

Whew! That was long. But once I started taking pictures of Caroline I just couldn’t stop!
